About Kenneth Nelson, Jr.
Kenneth Ray Nelson, Jr. is an international award-winning filmmaker, producer, and founder of Ray Media, a storytelling agency focused on transforming organizations through purpose-driven narratives. A graduate of Michigan State University, Bachelor and Master of Arts in Digital Media Arts & Technology. Kenneth began his career by building and leading a multi-million-dollar video production studio serving Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
Kenneth was privileged to be the executive producer and chief storyteller for the globally renowned motivational speaker Dr. Eric Thomas. Kenneth produced numerous viral videos amassing over 100 million global views and helped launch Dr. Thomas into a global household name.
In 2018, Kenneth wrote, produced, and directed his first feature film, Sincerely, Brenda, which received 44 nominations and 19 awards, including Best Film in Rome, Italy. Following the film’s success, Kenneth founded Ray Media Creative, merging cinematic storytelling with brand development.
